Martini is a brand of Italian vermouth, named after the Martini & Rossi distillery in Turin which was partly founded by Alessandro Martini.

It is produced in several versions: Bianco (white), Rosso (red), Extra Dry, Rosé (pink) and d'Oro (golden). Martini & Rossi also produces the famous Chinamartini.

Racing

Martini became famous for sponsoring the Porsche 917 that won the 1971 24 Hours of Le Mans. They repeated wins there in 1976 and 1977 with Porsche 936, as well as in many other events in the 1970s for the factory Porsche team, with their distinctive dark blue, light blue and red stripes on white or silver cars.

In the F1, they sponsored Brabham, on white cars with Ford Motor Company-V8-engines since 1975, and on red cars powered by Alfa Romeo-V12 since 1977. They moved to Team Lotus after 1979 and began sponsoring Ferrari in 2006
