The AMX was an American-designed automobile manufactured by the former Bizzarrini factory in Turin, Italy. Six cars were made from 1969 to 1972. It was designed chiefly by American Motors (AMC) designer Richard "Dick" Teague.

The car is more commonly known as the AMX/3, being the third iteration of AMC's AMX (American Motors Experimental) two seater concept. The second version, the AMX/2, was never produced, though two rolling prototypes were made.

ItalDesign built the car, which was a mid-engined design by AMC's Dick Teague. It featured a 6383 cc (360 in³) AMC V8 engine developing 345 PS (254 kW) at 5100 rpm and a custom made OTO Melara five speed transaxle.
