Triumph Italia (Ruffino SpA Industria Costruzione Automobili) founded in Naples and designed by Michelotti produced the first prototype. The model was built on a Triumph chassis and with the technique of the model 1962 Triumph TR 3 was produced here. The assembly was carried out by the company Carrozzeria Vignale.
